Gel cake is a popular dessert in many cultures, and is often served at celebrations and special occasions. It is also a relatively easy dessert to make, making it a great option for home bakers.
INGREDIENTS
Flour
: 1 kg
Sugar
: 1 kg
Egg
: 1kg (20 nos)
Vanaspathi or Oil
: 1 kg
Baking powder
: 5 gm
Baking soda
: 5gm
Essense (Vanila powder or essence depends on your choice)
: 10gm
CK'S LIFE 2020
: 10gm
CK'S LIFE 2479
: 15 gm
CK'S LIFE 2694
: 10 gm
CK'S Savoury
: 50 gm
Cake gel
: 60 gm
DIRECTIONS
Step1
Beat with sugar and oil or vanaspathi. Then add the beaten eggs, CK'S Savoury and cake gel blend well. Beat further so that the mixture turns white and creamy.
Step2
Add 10gm of CK'S LIFE 2020 to mix with Oil
Step3
Add 10gm of CK'S LIFE 2694 to mix with Oil
Step4
Baking soda, salt and 15gm CK'S LIFE 2479 mix with flour
Step5
Gradually, add this to the egg mixture. Add vanilla powder and blend well
Step6
Take a baking tin to cook the cake and grease it well using some oil or butter paper.
Step7
Bake at 200° for 25 minutes. Insert a metal skewer into the cake and if it comes out clean, then the cake is ready.
Step8
Remove from the oven and allow to cool. The cake is ready now.
